Explore the extraordinary life of Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804) through original mail sent and signed by him in his role as the first secretary of the treasury and portraits of him and his contemporaries on postage and revenue stamps.
THRU September 16, 2018 the exhibition will include the original dueling pistolsĀ used by Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr in the 1804 duel that killed Hamilton. This rare public showing marks the first time these pistols have been displayed in Washington, D.C.
