The Clovers, founded by Harold Lucas, began singing together at Armstrong High School in Washington, DC. The group signed with Atlantic Records in 1950, which began the unbelievable string of 15 number-one hits on the Rhythm and Blues charts, influencing every vocal group that followed throughout the ensuing decades. Their hits on Atlantic included "Don't You Know I Love You," "Fool, Fool, Fool," "One Mint Julep," and "Lovey Dovey."

The Velons, an incredibly talented vocal group from Washington DC, has been performing and recording for nearly 60 years. They continue to dazzle audiences with their blend of harmony, which recaptures the sound and spirit of a time when love songs echoed in the hearts of the young and young at heart. Their polished vocals and use of "blow" harmony have been compared to other legendary vocal groups, including The Moonglows and the Flamingos.

Make sure you don't miss this opportunity to experience the majestic sounds of these two legendary groups!
