Erik Goldstein, Senior Curator of Mechanical Arts and Numismatics at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, explores the fascinating stories behind the nine examples known to have been owned by Washington over the course of more than two hundred years. This presentation commemorates the 237th anniversary of George Washington’s birth.
