For many Native communities water has long been a way of bringing people together. Waterways bring access to communication, trade and travel. This month visitors will be learning all about the different types of traditional boats used by Native peoples throughout the Western Hemisphere. Participants can explore miniature versions of a Makah dugout canoe, a bison bull boat, a seal skin kayak and more.
