Families are invited to participate and learn about a winter story with the January Storybook Thanks to the Animals written by Allen Sockabasin (Passamaquoddy) and illustrated by Rebekah Rayeo. When Passamaquoddy baby Zoo Sap tumbles off his family’s sled into the snow, he is cold and frightened. His cries bring animals big and small from the surrounding forest, who encircle Zoo Sap with love and furry warmth until his father finds him.
