Sip tea, then find out about 200 years of sustainable practices at Tudor Place.

Over two centuries, the Peter family of Tudor Place used creative strategies for reducing waste. Enjoy an elegant tea and demonstration on how to reuse steeped tea leaves. After the tea and demo, explore sustainability on a guided tour of the historic house and garden. From a functional “soap saver” to quirky planters made from hat racks, the Peters reduced waste. Find out how the Tudor Place Foundation is working to make a 203-year-old National Historic Landmark sustainable for the future.
