During July, Gallery Clarendon’s Overlook Gallery features "Black and White," a group show interpreting an artist’s classic “colorless” approach but with a twist. Although no color is apparent in these works, no black paint was used either—instead, the “blacks” are really a mixture of other colors. "This dynamic expression made us examine every day scenes in a unique way," says painter and teacher Jane Coonce who conceived of the exhibit. Also featured are new works from Gallery members in the main gallery including: paintings, sculpture, jewelry and metalwork, glass, wood and ceramics, mixed media and photography.
