In this talk, you will learn about the effects of music on the brain from the perspective of neuroscience and brain development, exploring questions such as: How does music shape brain development from infancy through adulthood? Why did we evolve to sing and dance? How can I use music and dance to live healthfully and build meaningful connection with others? You will gain knowledge of the scientific evidence and practical tips for how to put that knowledge to work in your own life.
