National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine

Celebrating their Jubilee 100th concert season, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (NSOU) presents a concert of Eastern European delights, including a showpiece for cello by Tchaikovsky, Sibelius’ first symphony which displays his unique Nordic style as well as his admiration for Tchaikovsky, and Ukrainian composer Borys Lyatoshynsky’s symphonic ballade composed as a tribute to the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz on the centenary of his death.
