After-Hours Party: Live Dangerously
Kick off Halloween weekend and celebrate “ghoul power” at the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA)! Visit the special exhibition Live Dangerously after-hours and enjoy an open bar with specialty spooky cocktails sponsored by Smirnoff, Captain Morgan and Guinness, delicious “fright” bites, spotlight exhibition tours, Halloween candy and more. Costumes encouraged: a special prize will be given for the best costume inspired by artists, artwork or anything celebrating the work of women in the arts.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: Live Dangerously features fierce, dreamy, and witty images of the female figure integrated into Earth’s terrain. Photographs by 12 artists depict women claiming their natural environments, illuminating the planet’s surface as a stage for human drama.
