Director Sara Fishko will introduce her film about the remarkable archive of W. Eugene Smith and his documentation of mid-century jazz life. His remarkable studio loft served as a magnetic draw for great performers and artists to play and hear music at all hours. Library of Congress Jazz Scholar Sam Stephenson will answer questions about his experiences there after the screening.
