(1925) Produced by famed producer Samuel Goldwyn, Stella Dallas is the tale of a small town girl who marries a wealthy man, with whom she has nothing in common. Labeled as a “women’s picture”, this is a powerful tale of a mother’s love and sacrifice and an unsung female hero’s survival. Directed by Henry King. Presented with live accompaniment by Andrew Earle Simpson.
