Dance in the stacks and enjoy the cash bar as Arlington Arts and Columbia Pike Branch Library launch the 2019 season of dance parties at the library! The Dave Kline Band blends the modern genres of rock, blues, jazz and folk with the cultural sounds of its diverse 4 piece ensemble featuring: Brit Dave Kline (electric violin), Colombian-American Fernando Mojica (electric guitar), Nigerian-American Olaolu Ajibade (drums), and Senegalese Etu Dieng (bass guitar). Dave Kline formed the Dave Kline Band in Washington, DC. Recognized for its vibrant world sound, the Dave Kline Band highlights its contemporary vibe with ancient cultures including Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Latin America. With high-energy, all original instrumentals, the combustion creates a deep emotional impact with the audience. Guest Artists with the band include French Canadian chantreuse Lynn Veronneau, Ken Avis from North of England on vocals.
