Life in Color Gallery Exhibit
Gaithersburg’s Arts on the Green presents “Life in Color,” an exhibit featuring works by the Metro Washington Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
The theme for this exhibit is color, which surrounds us and affects our lives, emotions and experiences. Like other fine art media artists, colored pencil artists use color to not only define their own personal experiences but also to draw attention, create mood, and communicate information to the viewer. Artistic compositions may include people, places, nature, everyday objects, or abstract interpretations. Ordinary things can be turned into extraordinary works of art through the artist’s interpretation of color. This exhibit will also feature the ceramics of Sharon Jacobs.
