Flexible 2 Day Mini-Camp: Why Do Cicadas Scream? (Ages 6-11, 2 days)

Develop characters, design art and movement to tell the life cycle of cicadas. Choose to participate for one day only on Jan 31 or enjoy two days of fun. The 2-day option includes a performance by Why Do Cicadas Scream? students in a matinee production of Jane Franklin Dance audience favorite “The Big Meow” on February 1, 2020. The camp includes movement, a fun visual art project directed by an educator from UpCycle Creative Reuse Center, performance practice, and weather permitting, outdoor fun at a nearby park. Wear loose fitting clothing, and bring snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. 

AM X Day: 8 am - 9 am (Friday only)

Friday Camp Hours: 9 am – 3 pm / Saturday Camp Hours: 10 am – 4 pm 

PM XDay 3 pm - 5 pm (Friday only)
