Welcome to "Twilight Tuesdays" at the museum. Every Tuesday we will be open until 8pm. That's three hours past our regular closing time of 5pm. Stop by and see our exhibits, learn about our collections, or hang out in our Sunburst Room. This is a free drop-in program. No registration or RSVPs required. 2/4 - "Game Night" - Get pointers on how to play chess. Experienced chess players will be on hand to assist. Other fun table games will be available to enjoy! 

2/11 - "Valentine Day Cards with a Message" - Friday is Valentine's Day. Artist educator, Alma Robinson leads a family workshop on designing valentine cards on the theme, Why I Love My Community. 

2/18 - "Washington National Opera" - Learn about the Washington National Opera's newest production, Blue . Enjoy selected arias from the opera and a conversation with the opera's librettist and director, Tazewell Thompson, moderated by Anacostia Community Museum Director, Melanie Adams.   

2/25 - "Black History Month Family Art Workshop" - Artist educator, Alma Robinson leads a family art workshop celebrating Black History Month. All supplies provided.
