This course takes students through the process of rehearsing and performing a musical. The course replicates a professional production. Issues explored include vocal production, acting a song, how to sing a scene, defining the arc of a character, and other aspects of singing and acting a musical. No experience required, but major roles will be assigned by audition. Chorus roles will not require auditions, but students must demonstrate they can carry a tune. The course culminates in six performances of Bonnie & Clyde. Roles for actors and singers of all types and experience. Email contact@theatrelab.org to schedule an audition.
