Dr. Deanna Wathington, executive dean of the Petrock College of Health Sciences at Bethune Cookman University will explore how universities can serve as partners and engines of renewal, as communities address issues of health and food equity. Conversation will include an honest exploration of the sometimes-strained relationships between educational institutions and the residents they serve and the process by which trust, and collaboration can be fostered though civic engagement.
