Amadou Kouyate is from the 150th generation of the Kouyate family of Manding Djali (oral historians/musicians of West Africa). Join him as he performs a musical montage on the 21-string Kora, rhythmic presentations on Djembe and Koutiro drums, and more! Amadou’s repertoire ranges from traditional songs from the 13th century to contemporary original compositions incorporating blues, jazz, soul, and rock genres.
