Presented by: Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts
Tickets · $370
Official website

Prepare, rehearse, and perform in a series of virtual staged readings offered in partnership with Woolly Mammoth Theatre. Work with professional directors and actors as part of a core company of students playing substantial roles in newly created works from the Play at Home series--plays created specifically during the pandemic period. You will perform world premieres (on Zoom) of more than 15 plays during the course. Issues explored in the class include the expectations involved in professional work, how to make strong acting choices within a compressed schedule, and the specific demands of staged readings versus full productions. Many roles for all types. By audition; email to schedule.

Online Class: Our Early Fall 2020 adult semester will take place entirely online via Zoom. Classes require live participation at the scheduled times using your own device. Zoom is most effective when used on a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Students using a cellphone to access class are likely to experience reduced functionality that may limit their ability to participate fully in class. Please review the technical requirements necessary to take part in an online class before enrolling.
