Glen Echo Pottery

Glen Echo Pottery was founded by Jeff Kirk in 1975. The Pottery became one of the initial members of the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture (GEPPAC) whose mission is "to present vibrant artistic, cultural and educational offerings at Glen Echo Park."

Over the years the pottery has greatly expanded in terms of both numbers of students and the extent of facilities. Many students of the pottery have gone on to become professional potters. Many more have become accomplished potters who continue to participate in our Glen Echo pottery community.
